Hi guys it is Emma here! i am going to interview Elizabeth Today!
What is a typical day like for you?
"Well i usauly wake up around 6.00 and go ride my horse along the creek. When i am done i run upstairs and put on my morning gown. then i have breakfest. then i walk to my tea lessons at Miss. Cole's house. i learn to: dance,walk,talk,curtsy,drink tea,and write properley! then i go to help out at my Father's store. We sell lot's of things there! then i go home change into a fancy evening gown and eat supper. my favorite part is when we all go into are parlour and talk,play games, and drink tea! then i go upstairs and go to bed."
What do you do for fun?
"I like to ride my horse Rosemary. i also like playing with Katherine my best friend i call her Kate."
What is your greatest fear?
"That Father would be killed in the war."
What is a typical outfit like for you?
"My morning gown is light,pastel,and flowing. i like that one best because i can move around more freely. i also have to wair: stockins,petticoats,bloomers,a shift,bonnet,and sometimes a shawl. i do not have to wair a corset.. YET! my evening gown is tight,dark,and stiff. it is hard to move around in that dress."
What is your greatest wish?
"For the war to end."
